Last year, we had the opportunity to enjoy a special lot from Argopuro Walida.
This coffee is a single Orange Bourbon lot, processed using the Hermetically Sealed Natural method. This process helps intensify fruit expression and deepen the sugar browning qualities in the cup.
Orange Bourbon is a natural mutation of the Bourbon varietal, known for its yellow to orange cherries and its inherently sweet, round, and gentle profile. When handled carefully, it often shows a refined sweetness with soft acidity and a smooth structure.
In the cup, this coffee is full of tropical fruit character, layered with notes of brown sugar. Complex yet sweet, a cup that feels expressive but still beautifully balanced.
