Established in 1929, Finca Lerida is one of Panama's oldest and most iconic coffee estates, nestled on the slopes of Volcán Barú in Boquete. With its high elevations, volcanic soil, and cool mountain climate, the farm has become renowned for producing Geishas of remarkable elegance, clarity, and complexity.
This lot is processed using the natural method, where only perfectly ripe cherries are carefully selected before being slowly dried on raised beds. The prolonged drying process allows the fruit sugars to infuse the seed, developing greater sweetness and a richer fruit expression while preserving the delicate floral qualities that make Geisha so distinctive.
In the cup, expect a beautifully refined profile with delicate florals, vibrant notes of orange, ripe peach, and sweet grapes, complemented by a luscious ripe fruit sweetness that lingers long after each sip.
