Gichichi Coffee Factory is one of the well known producers from Nyeri, Kenya, a region often recognized for producing some of the country’s most vibrant and expressive coffees. Located in the highlands of Central Kenya, Nyeri benefits from high elevation, rich volcanic soil, and cool temperatures that allow coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop complexity.

This lot is graded AB, referring to the screen size of the beans, slightly smaller than AA but often offering a beautifully balanced and expressive cup. The coffee is typically made up of classic Kenyan varieties such as SL28 and SL34, known for their bright acidity, layered sweetness, and long, elegant finish.

Processed using the washed process, this coffee highlights clarity and structure, allowing the origin and varietal character to shine. In the cup, you can expect lively acidity reminiscent of blackcurrant and mandarin orange followed by beautiful honey-like sweetness.
