Finally, after a long wait, we’re happy to share a coffee from one of Indonesia’s finest producers, Curators Coffee Company. Yes, this is Semendo.
Grown in the highlands of South Sumatra, Semendo is known for its fertile volcanic soil, cool climate, and naturally balanced sweetness. This year, we’re grateful to secure three different lots, each processed with a different approach to explore the wide potential of this region.
This lot is the most unique among them. It features Liberica, a rare coffee species known for its large beans, bold aromatics, and expressive character. Liberica originates from West Africa and is grown in limited quantities in Indonesia. Compared to Arabica, Liberica often shows a wider and more unconventional flavor spectrum, shaped strongly by processing and terroir.
Processed using HSN for 120 hours, this coffee reveals a fruity and vibrant profile while remaining balanced. In the cup, we find notes reminiscent of orange, snakefruit, and sugarcane. Expressive, distinctive, and full of character, a rare and exciting side of Semendo we’re proud to share.

To make sure you get the most flavorful experience possible, our beans are always roasted to order. Since fresh coffee needs a little time to settle, we suggest resting your bag for 2 to 3 weeks before brewing.

We accept returns on unopened coffee beans and grounds within 3 days package received. Items must be in their original, sealed packaging. If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, please reach out to our team immediately so we can send a replacement.
