There’s always a place in our heart for Semendo from Curators Coffee Company.
So honestly, it just feels a little incomplete when our line up doesn’t have a Semendo in it. That’s why we asked for more coffees, and luckily, they sent us this beautiful Lot 1015.
This lot is processed using Hermetically Sealed Natural for 120 hours, resulting in a cup that feels cleaner, while still carrying the sweetness and fruit-forward character we love from Semendo.
When roasting this coffee, we knew we wanted to highlight its sweetness and texture. So we chose to extend the Maillard phase, then drop the roast a little earlier to preserve the fruit expression.
The result is a cup that reminds us of blueberry, prune, and sweet chocolate, almost like a chocolate bar. Sweet, layered, and deeply enjoyable.
