Wanoja Avisani - Anaerobic Natural
Wanoja Coffee has always been one of our favorite producers in West Java.
This year, we’re grateful to deepen our collaboration with Satrea Amambi, working closely together to secure three unique single varietal coffees.
This particular lot features Typica Buhun, an old Typica line that has been preserved by farmers in West Java. The word buhun means heritage or old in Sundanese, reflecting its long history and traditional roots. Known for its elegance and clarity, Typica Buhun often expresses gentle sweetness and refined acidity when handled with care.
Processed using an anaerobic natural method, this coffee sees enhanced fruit expression and livelier acidity. In the cup, it opens with bright notes reminiscent of strawberry, followed by red apple, and finishes with a lingering brown sugar sweetness.
