The purpose of this brew guide is to share with you guys, the easiest and simplest way to get a great cup of coffee using our roasted coffee. Here’s our recipe:
Cone dripper
- Brew Ratio: 12,5 gr coffee : 200 ml water
- Grind Size: Medium-coarse (26 - 28 Clicks Comandante)
- Water Temp: 88 - 92° C

- 1.40 200 gr
- Total brew time: 2.25 - 2.45
After running lots of tests, we realize that our Stronghold roasts is easier to extract, so we adjusted our recipe a little bit to better fit our new roasts. There are also a few other details that we think you might want to pay attention to.
The first one is Water. Water is super important to brew a great cup of coffee. Way more important than you think probably! We always recommend using mineral booster like Aquacode/Apax Lab/Lotus to get the best out of our coffee. However, if you are looking for an easier (and cheaper) water to get, we recommend using Nestle Pure Life to brew our coffee. If your Nestle is 150 ppm+, please mix it with 75% Amidis and 25% Nestle to get the best out of our coffee. In our coffee shop, we use our own mix of minerals to boost the flavour of our coffee, hopefully we can share this premix mineral with you soon!
Second one is Agitation. Agitation is one brewing variables that we can control and affects the way we extract our coffee. For our recipe, we recommend using a slower pour (3 - 5 ml/s) with low agitation to avoid over extraction and clogging. Do circle pours only!
Third and the most important thing is to remember that this is just a guide and we have our own preferences! We believe that there is no right and wrong in brewing coffee and we always encourage you to try new recipes, drippers, water, etc. Yes, some brews might taste not as good but that's what makes coffee interesting, the never ending learning experience!
